My two cents on yesterday's presentations
Ernesto’s presentation – Visual communications. I must say, I HATED following Ernesto as he used ALL the technical tools of the REVE so beautifully, incorporating sound and visuals to create a very stimulating presentation! Beautiful examples of digital graphics and their evolution (except my eye still hurts after watching that video!). Looking forward to seeing his final dragon build!
John O’Hearn – Evidence of Frustration (blog about what frustrates them)blog. Interesting what you're getting there! Great idea for races website, cool links to locations. Blogging about the challenges (be sure to include link to blog on website?) Advertising potential is HUGE!! Good luck!!! Why do separate website and blog? What’s the difference? All a matter of traffic. Ning really seems to be a very close blend of a blog/website. BRILLIANT idea about the dog leash!!! BUILD, PANTENT AND MARKET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ray Parkinson – Curious as to why you're using plaza.ufl.edu to host your website when you already have webhosting services? I really liked what you did with the Genesis “Go Hard” video on YouTube. Can you improve pixilation/sharpen the images on your videos? And, set up your index on plaza so it opens on the homepage rather than the list. How will you drive traffic to the website? Shutterfly.com? Seems you have everything you want on it. Why recreate the wheel on plaza!?!?!?!
