Rhizome

It seems to me that Rhizome.org, the website that "supports the creation, presentation, and preservation of contemporary art that uses new technologies in significant way", is an embodiment of all that we have gone over in class. The computer itself and all the technology we have today are very similar to the concept of the philosophical rhizome. "knowledge is negotiated and the learning experience is a social as well as a personal knowledge creation process with mutable goals and constantly negotiated premises." The computer and the internet are the embodiment of the concept. Wikipedia allows for people to negotiate with knowledge, and turns everybodies learning process into a social process.
