Merce Cunningham

Merce Cunningham died at that the age of 90, but he has never acted his age. He appeared in every production he made since 1970. Merce has been hailed as the greatest choreographer of all time though fame came internationally before it came nationally.

  1. I dont know if the "best" choreographer, as im sure there are many talented poeple out there, but definately a very good one. I think part of that comes with having made it big outside of the united states then bringing his talent in, without Americanized expectations. An example of this is julet Binoche, a great french actress, that we are really appreciating now.
