Midterm Project Evaluations
I'd like to say, first and foremost, that I enjoyed everybody's presentations. I really thought that everyone did a great job, because everyone had something interesting and personal to present to the class. I've learned so much! Everyone had a message to deliver regarding digital culture, and everyone had something new to share with everyone. I was very impressed with everybody's work, and I really don't think that anyone deserves a bad grade.
Ernesto: Informational, good connection/relation to digital culture; interesting visual supplements. I must commend you for being the first presenter. Score: 10/10.
Donna: Excellent analysis on society in relation to digital culture. I think it's a plus that you incorporated class interactivity into your project. Score: 10/10.
John: Very entertaining and interesting ideas, but lacked some "meat and potatoes," so to speak. The hilarious video was a plus. Score: 9/10.
Ray: Interesting incorporation of digital culture into your personal interests and ambitions. Score: 9/10.
Matt: Impressive, informational tools. Score: 10/10.
Aaron: Creative videos and organization of webpage. Score: 10/10.
Diego: Good incorporation of class material into such an entertaining, creative video, but maybe you could have explained it a little more while the video was playing. Score: 9/10.
Alberto: I think it's great that you used a personal anecdote to connect to the implications of Windows vs. Linux. Very good, informed presentation; I loved the animations. Score: 10/10.
Wayne: I wasn't able to catch the entire presentation from the beginning, but from what I saw, you had very good examples to an interesting project. Score: 10/10.
Nate: You made the term machinima a lot easier to understand. Now that I know what it is, I've definitely witnessed machinima become a great part of today's digital culture. Excellent video. Score: 10/10.
Tiva: Good use of examples to deliver your message. The only thing is that I would have liked to see more of the program itself, and how you made your own work from it. Score: 9/10.
Nicola: I like that you had a purpose to your presentation, and I loved the FCAT Writes connection. I feel like it wasn't long ago since I took that test, so I could relate. Loved the video as well. Score: 10/10.
Teresa: Nice website... very visually appealing and organized. Your artwork is fantastic! I'm jealous. Score: 10/10.
Chris: Nice animated GIF. It seems like you spent a while on it, but I think you could have let us know more about that process. Score: 9/10.
