So.. We were able to get the Warhol and the luminosity filter to work in our videos. We also learned how to use the m-grid to control midi in Ableton. We are still working to get all of these tasks to occur in the same video. It was definitely a process of trial and error. We had a hard time keeping everything functioning without the program failing but we are learning a lot about the details of constructing patches. We will keep exploring.

At the last three weeks of this semester, Mr. Panago introduced us a new video editing software Adobe After Effects. Adobe Premiere, which is also mainly for video editing that I explored in midterm project, is generally employed to arrange the order of videos, cut and put transitions, it is also capable of doing basic DVD authoring. While After Effects can edit video footage in much the same way as Premiere, it is designed specifically to work with video layering, compositing, effects and animation. Basically as what it states in its name, it is used for "Effects".Of course Premiere can also do these things but After Effects has a slightly different workflow that makes them easier.
