Stumbling and 8 Bit Music

I stumble (via stumbleupon.com) when I'm extremely bored, and I always come across some gems on the internet.

I found this blog that posted a  hip hop medley that was put through an 8bit NES sound effect and thought it was really awesome!

How would I recreate this sound in Ableton? Am I capable of doing it there?

Explore NORMALIZATION to -6db as we discussed in class 5.) make a cut, chop something and re-arrange it with audacity 6.) try phasing things **remember my examples about out of phase! Also please go and explore and DOWNLOAD an .mp3 from UBUWEB and convert it to a .wav or .aiff with ITUNES. Try to weave these things...
