More Findings

As an avid stumbler (stumbleupon.com) I've come across some of the great little things the internet has to offer. Many of those have been audio/music making devices right off your browser! And now that we all know how to record sound directly coming from our computer, you can easily loop and create your own scores in the same way that Pat showed us in class with FreeSound, and have the ability to save it to you computer!

Check out these cool sites I found!

Here's one that I find really cool. It's a tone matrix, " a simple sinewave synthesizer triggered by an ordinary 16step sequencer." It's simple way to create and control the sound loop with just a click of your mouse!

Finally I found a really interesting video of a guy who makes music from a tree! He ties the ideas of geotagging, layering, looping, and some of the other ideas that Pat has touched base on.  I plan on looking into using this music to score some of my own choreography.

Enjoy!
